At DeCou Sports Chiropractic in Bozeman, Montana we like to keep things simple. Something as simple as a Lacrosse ball can help you release those sore muscles at home! In this case we have put two lacrosse balls together for a simple tool that can get those hard to reach muscles in your back.
In this picture, also on Instagram, we are using a Lacrosse ball for some stress relief in the upper back. It works great on the muscles that border the spine. Keep those muscles loose! This is especially important for good posture. It can help with the prevention of headaches or migraines by keeping neck muscles loose. Loose muscles means happy muscles and that will make an overall positive impact on your upper back.
Never tried this? Drop us a line! 🎣
Remember to start slow. Use minimal pressure. If this is your first time, begin on a wall in the vertical position to control the weight of your pressure on the ball. Find a sore spot? Hold that pressure on it for a few seconds and take some deep breaths from your diaphragm. ( belly breathe! An important topic for another day! )
